WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Were searching for an undisputed leader to join our expanding team in the role of Senior Director of Business Development and drive partner provider acquisition efforts while building partnerships across all adjacent industries of mental health treatment.

In this role, you will lead the BD department and work closely with the co-founder & managing director of the company, with a primary focus on the coordination and execution of the BD strategies to take over the market.

This position requires a hybrid of remote and in-person work based in Venice, CA. Were a small, entrepreneurial team that moves fast, so your ability to quickly ramp up on new channels and tactics in addition to utilizing existing skills will be crucial to your success.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Secure new business with prospects and existing clients in an assigned territory
  • Manage and qualify potential opportunities from functional leads to create sales
  • Build relationships with leaders at emerging and established companies
  • Own the relationship with the client - drive the entire sales cycle, manage client questions/escalations, and pursue opportunities to expand scope and services
  • Identify, research, and recommend industries, companies, and technologies for Wonder Sciences to evaluate from the perspective of a strategic, product, and platform partner
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end partnership process, including strategic/financial analysis, pipeline building, due diligence, and negotiating the business terms with partners while working with Wonder Sciences, legal team to execute necessary contracts
  • Stay abreast of competitors, trends, market leading indicators, and legislative issues
  • Analyze sales results and metrics to evaluate performances
  • Communicate business issues and opportunities on an ongoing basis to senior management
  • Fiscal management of pricing and contract agreements

Requirements

Its important for us that you have:

  • 7 years of experience in a sales role
  • 5 years of experience working in a health-tech company
  • Interest in managing a high standard team dynamic against ambitious results
  • Ability to think outside the box, brainstorm and ideate with other teams to create new and/or evolve current products and services, strategies, and presentation materials
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing/evolving growth and respond strategically to organizational need
  • Positive, solution-oriented, optimistic and enthusiastic mentality


What it takes to catch our eye:

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams such as product, legal, engineering, marketing and senior executives in a fast-paced environment
  • You are strategic, driven, goal oriented, and analytical with a passion for marketplace businesses and a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape
  • You have a hunter mentality, proficient in pipeline building, management, and deal completion against OKRs
  • Prior experience as an SDR/BDR preferred
  • Are proficient in partner sales motions, technical, and able to navigate through integration points such as APIs
