Resource dedicated to our synchrophasor EMS project. This work would involve working with internal groups on Data Clean-up activities and monitoring that progress, working with the vendor on design review, reviewing documents, testing and configuration of a pilot system and the production system, etc. Were working on a formal responsibilities document internally, but in general, someone with knowledge of how an EMS functions with SCADA data (operator tools, power flow, state estimation, contingency analysis, alarming, etc.) should be able to easily apply that to this system with the core difference being the usage synchrophasor data. However, experience with synchrophasor data is a plus.

Requirements

• Experience with synchrophasor data and systems
• Experience with EMS systems, applications, and concepts. (e.g. State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, Power Flow).
• Experience working with Data Quality and Data Clean-up efforts, CIM format, network modeling, determining if a network if fully observable, concepts like node-breaker vs. bus-branch models.
• Generally anything useful when building and designing an EMS system.
