Position: Senior ESG Operations Consultant

Job Duties:

Develop and rollout scope of services, process guides, and training for all carbon management services; Coordinate with software teams for development of platform capabilities to assist with carbon management services.
Interface with the Product development team for the creation and maintenance of ESG solutions including but not limited to the Salesforce and Tableau CRM platforms.
Act as a resident subject matter expert for all carbon management services such as greenhouse gas inventories, carbon strategy, climate risk, and science-based targets.
Manage Greenhouse Gas Emissions update protocol across the company leveraging the Databases EPA eGRID, and IEA databases to ensure accurate and up to date reporting is applied for all client metrics this includes knowledge of technical tools and protocols for calculation of Scope 1, Scope 2, Scope 3 emissions based on GHG Protocol
Work Management of internal ESG program such as Sustainability Report, UN Global Compact, and GHG Inventory
Serve as Subject matter expert on building performance standards across multiple US jurisdictions. Lead the development of this new product for the firm in conjunction with other counterparts based on experience and SME with regards to the emerging legislation around building performance standards
Act as a subject matter expert for all data related issues related to environmental, social and governance data such as energy, greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, waste data, and social metrics
Act as a subject matter expert for ESG consulting focused on ESG/Sustainability reporting systems such as SASB (preferably SASB FSA Level 1), GRESB, GRI, TCFD, SBTi, CDP, S&P CSA and use knowledge/experience in developing ESG Strategy for large real estate portfolios in public and private markets. Leverage asset level building certification systems such as LEED AP O+M and Fitwel (preferably Fitwel Ambassador) for policy and strategy development.
Lead ESG SaaS and Consulting for Private Equity clients with strategy development, SaaS
Product development, and implementation.
This position is fully remote and can be performed from any location in the United States.
The worksite is unknown and unanticipated.

Degree Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, or closely related field.

Experience Required: 4 years as an ESG Solutions Architect or ESG Consultant.

Skill set Requirements (Special Requirements):

Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience in:
ESG/Sustainability reporting systems such as SASB, GRESB, GRI, TCFD, SBTi, CDP, S&P CSA;
Technical tools and protocols for calculation of Scope 1, Scope 2, Scope 3 emissions based on GHG Protocol;
Tableau CRM;
Salesforce;
Databases EPA eGRID, IEA;
Knowledge/Experience in developing ESG Strategy for large real estate portfolios in public and private markets;
LEED AP O+M;
SASB FSA Level 1;
Fitwel Ambassador.
