Job Overview
Customer is searching for an energetic and highly motivated candidate to join its Electrical Hardware Engineering organization for DOD applications. The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting circuit card manufacturing defects, working to support Root Cause Corrective Action reports, and synthesizing & communicating solutions to the wider product team. The primary role of this engineer is to assist in a production support capacity for a low-rate initial production design. The candidate will be involved in maturing pre-planned product improvement concepts for the program and developing production manufacturing test adapters. Additionally, the candidate will be tasked to design and develop circuit card assemblies (CCA) and modules such as test adapters and fielded systems. The Electrical Engineer should be experienced in most aspects of circuit card design from concept through delivery to higher level assemblies as evidenced by multiple successful design completions (including hardware/firmware designs with microcontrollers or microprocessors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, UART). Candidates must exhibit a high degree of initiative and sound judgment, working independently and as a member of the Electrical Hardware Development Team. It is essential the individual be capable of adapting to changing conditions and work cooperatively in a team environment.
