Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and peripherals. Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely manner, escalating issues as needed. Install and maintain well-functioning computer networks connections and cabling. Perform software installations, updates, and patches. Monitor system performance and ensure security measures are in place. Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory. Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and systems. Train end-users on basic computer usage and software applications. Document and maintain technical procedures and user guides. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology

Qualification

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems. Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office suite. Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused with a strong commitment to providing exceptional service. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus
