E4 to M2

As the Associate Transaction you will be part of the Legal Function and will report to the Lead- Legal. The purpose of your role will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of legal activities for India and Global operations including contract management, corporate advisory, legal research, Merger and Acquisition transaction documentation across the organisation and ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Gathering/Collecting information from concerned teams.
Drafting and vetting of agreements based on inputs provided above or sharing of the same with Company s External counsels for their views/draft, as may be required.
Seeking requisite approvals carrying out changes, wherever necessary.
Sharing the Draft with the business teams for their inputs/suggestion if any and then finalising the Draft to be circulated for the opposite party s review.
Negotiation/discussion with external stakeholders and re-drafting of the agreement if required.
Checking for final execution of the agreement.
Development of standard agreement templates and SOPs.
Understanding the queries received from the various business teams including global business in relation to the agreements executed.
Seeking external support from lawyers, wherever required in order to handle queries.
Legal support to global business & Strategy in M&A activity and entry into new market.
Support in M&A negotiation and transaction documentation.

LLB (Hons) with 5-7 years of experience

• Knowledge of corporate, commercial Laws and drafting skills.
• Understanding of company operations and ability to manage complex legal issues.
• Experience in handling of transactions and ability to negotiate, draft, review, vet transaction documents.

• manage business clients,
• provide independent advice to senior level management on highly technical matters.
