SENIOR FF&E DESIGNER - Hospitality
Must have experience with Hospitality Interior design projects in China.
Location: Santa Monica-CA
Salary: $80K to $124K DOE. They can pay more!

OVERVIEW:
Seeking Senior FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment) Designers to focus on high-end, 5-star Hospitality and luxury Residential interiors.
Ideal candidates will join a diverse and highly creative design team dedicated to expressing their immense talent in Design and Interior architecture.
Responsibilities:
Assists senior management in leading the FF&E design and providing strong FF&E guidance to manage the design team.
Strong knowledge and leadership of the design process, focusing in FF&E design, space planning, schematic design, design development, construction documents and FF&E specification.
Leads client presentations and meetings with senior management, sometimes without.
Participates in industry events, forums, and conferences as required.
Provides structured and effective leadership to maintain a positive studio environment while serving as a primary point of interface with clients.
Coordinate with interior architecture team to execute all FF&E design solutions.
Review shop drawings from FF&E manufacturer to ensure all FF&E are made to execute design intent and practicality.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Eight to 10 years of experience in broad range of Hospitality experience.
LEED AP certification preferred a plus.
Bachelor or Master's Degree from an accredited Interior Design/Architecture program.
NCIDQ Certification, preferred.
Must have experience with design projects in China.
Expert knowledge of construction materials and FF&E specifications providers, particularly as applicable to the Hospitality industry.
*Ability to speak Chinese - helpful.
Broad experience with the entire project lifecycle, through post occupancy experience leading, managing and mentoring multiple project teams.
Experience maintaining and developing long-lasting client relationships.
Computer skills to include: AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
