As a Senior Final Assembler youll be responsible for performing manual labor and set up in the assembly of lighting fixtures and related parts using hand and air tools and a variety of related production machinery.


Rate: $19.58 per hour


Shift: 6:30am to 3:00pm (Monday to Friday)

What youll do


Efficient and safe use of hand, power and measuring tools along with efficient and safe operation and set up of production equipment and machinery

Assembles and sub assembles lighting fixtures and related components (mechanical and electrical). Tests and packages assemblies and components

Makes inventory transactions with the efficient use of scanners and computer equipment

Provides assistance to Engineering on proto-types and New Product Development and Planning with materials/inventory management along with providing assistance and making recommendations to Manufacturing Engineering and Continuous Improvement Teams

Directs, assists and trains Final Assemblers

Operates within Safety Policies, ISO Regulations, Work Station Instructions and Quality Standards as dictated in engineering drawings. Responsible for work station organization, cleanliness and maintenance of tools and equipment; maintains 5S principles and standards

Acts as lead hand and/or back up lead hand as required

Assists in other departments and work cells as required

Your qualifications


High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required

Manual dexterity required for assembly and machine operations. Ability to fulfill physical requirements including standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time

Experience as a Final Assembler possessing full proficiency in all duties and tasks

Full understanding of all department related paperwork. Good communication skills.

Good clerical ability and able to read and work from drawings

Basic computer skills for inventory transactions, data entry and record keeping

Able to pass practical Sub Assembly Test

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 30 lbs and standing for a prolonged period of time. Environment and machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, gloves and steel toed work shoes/boots. Bare midriff and legs, loose fitting clothing and jewelry are not permitted.
