Senior Financial Analyst Location: US-CA-Westchester Email this job to a friend

The Senior Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for end-to-end support of product pricing adjustments, inquiries, customer quotations, and related pricing data analyses and continuous process improvements. In addition, the position will collaborate with internal departments on financial analysis and reporting needs and requests. Pricing Support (50%) - Work with all related departments to ensure correct prices are delivered and applied
- Provide analyzed data to related departments for review and for future price changes
- Perform pricing research and analysis and create related reports
- Communicate and coordinate with Marketing and Sales departments to integrate marketing analysis data, customer feedbacks and sales history data to support development of market pricing strategy
- Perform other job-related duties as directed by management
Financial Analysis (50%) - Develop integrated revenue / expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
- Analyze and understand monthly sales performance to budget and vs. last year, monthly COGS variances, and monthly manufacturing variances (labor, variable OH, and fixed OH) against budget
- Track actual OPEX spend to budget, by department
- Analyze slow moving inventory and physical inventory discrepancies
- Track capital project spending to budget using SAGE software
- Assist in the preparation of internal financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Manage accurate and timely monthly and year-end close processes, making certain all financial reporting deadlines are met Create and analyze monthly financial statements and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately, including explanation of variances against actual results
- Prepare and review presentations required for management review, and timely distribution of comprehensive reports to managers Perform monthly reconciliation of internal accounts
- Apply daily customer remittances with accuracy and timeliness
- Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process and monthly forecast activities
- Assist with periodic inventory cycle count and annual physical account as needed
Requirements - Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Finance, Accounting or closely related field, MBA preferred
- 4-7 years of related experience
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
- Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
