Senior Full Stack Developer. Ocelot Consulting LLC. Saint Louis, Missouri. Responsible for all facets of the development of cloud-native products, including frontend, backend, infrastructure, and data pipelines. Develop cloud-native applications and deploy to a cloud environment including, but not limited to, AWS and Azure. Develop distributed microservice architectures providing elasticity, redundancy, failover, and intelligent routing. Lead API development, ensuring proper microservice separation and HTTP verb usage. Create security and data protection settings. Maintain and enhance existing code and infrastructure. Perform and oversee software unit testing. Improve deployment and CI/CD processes. Provide insight on emerging technology platforms, development tools, and programming techniques that may enhance products and development processes. Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or Technology, or closely-related degree. Eight years of experience in any software developer position developing software using multiple general purpose programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, .NET, or Scala). Five years of experience developing cloud-native applications and deploying to a cloud environment including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure. Demonstrated knowledge of NodeJS and modern .NET development environments, design patterns, and best practices. Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex system architectures, demonstrating a deep understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and fault tolerance in order to deliver robust and efficient solutions. Demonstrated experience developing distributed microservice architectures, providing elasticity, redundancy, failover, and intelligent routing. Demonstrated experience with SPA framework (e.g., React or Angular). Demonstrated experience with API development, including proper microservice separation and HTTP verb usage. Demonstrated knowledge of database technologies (e.g., Postgres, Mongo, Elastic Search, or SQL). Demonstrated ability to handle and analyze massive datasets, including ability to efficiently process and extract insights from substantial volumes of data via workflow orchestration (e.g., Apache Airflow). Demonstrated understanding of DevOps responsibilities, including OS and Container Management. Demonstrated experience performing extensive unit testing and possesses CI/CD experience. Employer will accept a three- or four-year bachelor's degree from any institution of higher education. Work from home available within normal commuting distance of St. Louis metropolitan area. Travel required approx. 25% of time to client locations within St. Louis metropolitan area.
