Are you a talented Engineer looking to join a growing team? Dispel is seeking a Senior Full Stack Web/API Engineer to join our team of roughly 20 engineers.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in building advanced web applications and be comfortable in working within visual design systems. You will have the opportunity to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality solutions. Location
We are a 100% fully remote company (U.S. only). You are welcome to use our office in Brooklyn, New York City. We also plan to open an office in Austin, Texas, where the majority of our engineering team is located.
Stack includes
Node, TypeScript, React, NextJS, Express, Webpack, React-Router, Storybook, Jest, Lerna, Cypress, PostgreSQL, Redis, Heroku, Swagger, ELK
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Comfortable with modern web development landscape, especially React. Should have worked on an advanced React/NextJS based product.
- Must have been deeply involved with at least one API.
- Fluent in SQL.
- Skilled in Unit testing, ideally with Jest and testing-library.
- Fast learner. Degrees and certificates arent a determining factor for us. Rather, we value your ability to care about your work and learn fast.
- Communication and team culture are very important at Dispel. Youll be joining a collaborative team where new ideas and contributions are encouraged. These criteria are soft, but just relax and be genuine.
Extra Credit
- GraphQL knowledge.
- Cypress experience.
- Storybook experience.
