Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• maintain, support, and upgrade existing claim applications including integrations

• solve real-world complex problems with effective and innovative technology solutions

• reason logically and creatively, identifying problems, drawing valid conclusions from the data available, and developing effective solutions while applying creative thinking in the design and development of high performing web applications

• communicate technical issues effectively, both in writing and verbally, to multiple audiences, technical and non-technical

• take ownership, self-sufficient, hands-on position on the team to lead and drive quality, maintain application stability

• work with project manager to ensure that all project deliverables are on time and high quality

• work collaboratively with other teams – app. dev. teams, infrastructure,qa, data teams on-site and offshore as well as senior management

• mange workload and mentor off-shore team members



Candidate Must Have:

• bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university

• good communication skills

• experience with design and code review

• claimcenter implementation experience

• ability to develop new integration capabilities

• a minimum of five years’ experience in gosu development – claim center experience

• hands on production support experience

• excellent configuration and integration capabilities

• knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform implementation solutions

• knowledge of insurance business processes specifically claim processing

• excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure the software delivered matches stakeholder needs

• experience designing, developing and maintaining quality enterprise applications

• this position requires the ability to function effectively with only minimal supervision
