Responsible to support SaaS business applications and work with other integration and systems engineers to support scaling Databricks’ business operations; Develop integration infrastructure and improve the operation and maintenance of the company’s existing integration systems through iterative upgrades, streamlining, and adoption of standard methodology; Design, develop, and deploying public and private APIs using SOAP and REST; Support company-level programs for transforming Databricks business processes and provide integration expertise and solutions. Detailed job duties include: Work closely with business and application stakeholders to gather data integration requirements, test different use cases and evaluate performance, and have the right error handling framework in place; Deploy and maintain integration solutions; Based on requirements provided by business and PM, build design document; Architect and evaluate cloud-based enterprise application solutions and provide recommendations on enterprise integration architecture that best fit Databricks business requirements; Leverage existing cloud based application for integration architecture; Design, develop, and maintain Databricks business systems to optimize scalability and adaptability to meet business needs; Review existing business processes, define rules and standards for data quality, and execute processes that highlight and manage exceptions to data quality; Translate business requirements into good technical data designs and maintain technical specification documentation for all processes; Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents. Develop integrations on Mule Runtime 4 including Messages Processors with Scatter-Gather, Choice, Poller, Until-Successful, Batch, HTTP, JMS, APIKit and Batch; Use MuleSoft Connectors to integrate third party platforms such as Salesforce, Database, HTTP, Netsuite and SFTP; Build Integration flows/API; Build high level flow and sequence diagram such that PM and business understand the sequence of operations; Build solutions integrating across enterprise SaaS systems, including Salesforce (Force.com), Workday, NetSuite, Marketo, and JIRA; Establish and execute the Data Quality Governance Framework, which includes end-to-end process and data quality framework for assessing decisions that ensure the suitability of data for its intended purpose; Build reusable frameworks for data quality, common API, Error handling etc to reduce future development costs; Assess data repositories for compliance with data governance policies and standards, to ensure data quality and integrity; Establish access control, audit capabilities of transactions and deployment controls; Offer meaningful perspectives on integration design patterns, concepts, alternatives, and best practices. $215,197 - $230,000 per year. Minimum job requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field and at least five years of experience. Will accept Master’s degree plus three years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience. Must have experience in the following areas: Experience in implementing enterprise application solutions; Experience with Mulesoft; Experience in deploying APIs using SOAP and REST; Experience in gathering data integration requirements and translating into technical data designs; Experience with JEE, JMS and Tomcat; Experience with RDBMS and distributed databases; Programming experience in Python or Golang; Experience with Spark.
