Senior Information Security Engineer Santa Ana, Costa Rica

We are looking for someone responsible of the proper execution of Service Management related activities, including Incident, Problem, Change, maintenance of a centralized Knowledge Database and implementation of continuous improvement actions on day-to-day support processes. The candidate will serve as a liaison between daily Operations and iPass Engineering. A critical thinking mindset, along with great customer service are considered must have skills for this role.


Role Responsibilities


Management of Incident, Problem and Change processes

Daily monitoring of critical tasks and systems

Identify issues/gaps, monitor defects.

Reporting on daily task monitoring and health checks

Update and maintenance of Knowledge Database

Creation and maintenance of Process and/or technical documents.


Role Requirements


5+ years of professional experience working in technical security support role or Information Technology, strong understanding of information security concepts and best practices as they pertain to information systems.

Experience in IAM (Identity Access Management) tools, preferably using SailPoint IIQ or functional equivalent.

Extensive knowledge and understanding of Service Management principles and tools (Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management).

Excellent customer-service oriented communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience in implementation of Continuous Improvement processes.


Preferred Abilities

Experience working in Jira
Experience working with incidents and requests in ServiceNow
Strong data management, reporting and analysis skills, comfortable working with large data sets
Knowledge in process improvement techniques, such as process design, workflow creation and value stream mapping
Snowflake or Power BI experience is a plus
