Job Responsibilities:

- Develop web applications and services in Java

- Write well-designed, efficient code

- Review, test and debug team members code

- Design and architect solutions

- Build applications are secure, stable and performant

- Lead a team of software developers

- Work with the product and operations team to understand the business requirements

Skills and Specifications

Required Skills:

- Java experience of at least 3 years

- Experience in building webapps in Java or Python (Spring, J2EE, Vertx, etc.)

- Experience in building REST APIs

- Experience with any RDBMS

- Experience building front end web applications with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and some

JavaScript framework like React

- Strong in fundamentals of computer science, especially in data structures & algorithms,

operating systems and networking

Nice to have:

- Knowledge or experience in building distributed systems

- Configuring Linux servers and web servers

- Knowledge of Python

- Knowledge of a public cloud (AWS or GCP or Azure)

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and techniques.

- Knowledge and/or practice of DevOps principles

- Team leadership experience
