Position: Senior Java Lead developer/Tech Lead

Location: Riverwoods, IL

Duration: 6+ Months

Mandatory Skills:

• Java / J2EE / JPA
• Spring Boot framework
• RESTful API
• Spring
• Hibernate
• OOO Design

• JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, ExtJS, React/Angular and Bootstrap
• RDBMS like Oracle, DB2, MySQL or SQL Server

Eclipse, Jenkins, CI/CD, DevOps and AWS Cloud enablement

Job Description

As a lead: Need to make sure this person can lead the team in terms of design and development (not managing)

• • Explain the design approach clearly
  • Know the overall SDLC of any project. Experience using one or more of Agile, Lean, and DevOps practices
  • Ability to create Technical Design Documents
  • Knows the techniques very well and concepts (like code coverage and tools we should use), importance security design/testing etc. Knowledge of security issues, solutions and products like Coverity, Blackduck etc.
  • Ability to explain to me and others about overall approach to design and architecture and how the potential new solution will definitely work
  • Take ownership of deliverables
  • Lead and own delivery by a team of people

As a specialist in Java

• • Have been hands-on core areas (like Spring, Hibernate etc)
  • Developed the code for large web systems with integration with preferably with more than two/three systems
  • Passion for technology trends e.g. Cloud, Digital, and collaboration tools
  • Coded all aspects of Java and can speak fluently about all aspects of Java

Dependent technologies

• • Good knowledge Databases
  • Good knowledge of integration and preferably through like IIB
