ROLE: Senior Mainframe Tech Lead: COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, CICS, IT Service Management, IBM Mainframe UtilitiesLOCATION: *100% ONSITE: Omaha, NE*END CLIENT: Fiserv Job Description:# of Positions: 3Length of Assignment: approx. 1 year Job Summary:Should have expert knowledge in COBOL, CICS, MVS, JCL, VSAM. MQ AND DB2Should have good understanding of Mainframe technologies from development and implementation stand pointShould be able to understand the requirement better and come up with design and suitable prototypesKnowledge in BFS domain and Application Modernization is preferred.Should have good communication, Precise verbal and written communication skills in English.Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively in English.Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels both internally and externally.Proven ability to identify and troubleshoot customer issues quickly and efficiently.Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.Understanding of customer support best practices and familiarity with customer support success metrics Experience: 6+ years Required Skills: COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, CICS, IT Service Management, IBM Mainframe Utilities, MQ, MVS, must have hands on Java experience as secondary skillset Nice to have Skills: BFS domain experience Top 3 Must Haves:1. Responsible for Analysis, coding, testing, and maintaining application software written in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, MQ and CICS. Supports existing business systems applications.2. Partners with senior developers and application architects to identify business need and appropriate technical solutions. Responsible for coding as well as assisting with designing and documenting technical requirements for business applications3. Participates in 7x24 on-call system support on shift basis.Years of Experience: 6.00 Years of Experience
