World Central Kitchen, Inc. (WCK) seeks a talented and committed Senior Manager, Global Total Rewards to join our growing team. This position will impact the organization by demonstrating thought leadership on the development of total rewards methodologies and approaches, leading the implementation of new projects and initiatives, and directing the service delivery of competitive compensation and benefits programs.

This role will report to the Chief People Officer. This role requires a sincere commitment to WCKs mission, the proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with attention to detail, the development of high-quality outputs for leadership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This position is intended to be hybrid, based in Washington DC, however, a remote location within the United States may be considered.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, communicate, and administer competitive total rewards strategies, including compensation, benefits, retirement, engagement, and other work experience programs globally, including our own social recognition program, that are cost effective and consistent with labor market trends and organizational objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction for global benefit programs such as time off and leave policy review, regulatory changes, and pension legislation changes.
  • Develop and track the annual operating budget and expenditures for all compensation and benefits programs by conducting regular market benchmarking assessment and presenting recommendations for executive leadership review and approval.
  • Design and implement changes to existing processes to promote a fair and transparent process in the areas of total rewards, compensation planning, benefits administration, annual compensation review, and employee promotion processes.
  • Design reports for executive leadership that monitor competitiveness, costs, and budget impacts of WCK's global rewards programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations related to compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure alignment of incentive/reward elements with culture, strategy, and operational imperatives for WCK US and WCK Spain employees, international EOR employees, and independent contractors globally.
  • Work with accounting and finance departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with all tax laws.
  • Collaborate with leaders and staff to proactively identify potential problem areas and develop timely solutions.
  • Ensure effective administration of total rewards vendors including vendor selection, contract negotiation/administration and service level agreements.
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in the design and implementation of complex compensation and benefits programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in job evaluation, job architecture, market pricing, benchmarking, salary structure design and development, pay for performance and incentive compensation.
  • Strong and detailed understanding of the compensation market benchmarking process and interrelationships among various components of the total rewards program
  • Experience with variable compensation and executive compensation plans.
  • Solid project management skills and the ability to execute projects in a complex, matrix global environment while maintaining focus on the organization, stakeholders, and staff.
  • Experience with administering ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, GDPR and related global regulatory issues.
  • Advanced problem solving, process improvement and change management skills with the ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively.
  • Degree in Human Resources or related experience, education, or certification such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Current US employment authorization.
  • Valid passport or the ability to obtain one.
