Summary and Role Purpose

The Digital Marketing and Operations team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics & Insight who will provide the Marketing team and key stakeholders with actionable, data-driven insights to guide execution, optimization and investment decision making. The ideal candidate possesses a strong Marketing reporting and data visualization background to unlock insights around performance with a strong focus on business outcomes. This is a new role so the ideal candidate will need to collaborate with marketing leaders to identify critical business problems, structure analyses, synthesize data from various sources, build the dashboard strategy, own data transformation and utilize advanced analytic techniques to deliver insights.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

Performance Measurement
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other relevant teams to establish KPIs for marketing initiatives and campaigns aligned with overall business goals.
Define the scope of marketing scorecards and dashboards while working alongside an internal analytics team to build them out for overall and functional performance monitoring.
Continuously monitor, track, analyze, and deliver comprehensive reports on the health of marketing performance including in-depth evaluation of engagement, conversions, pipeline contribution, program ROI, campaign attribution, customer acquisition/penetration, and the impact of communications and media strategies.
Operationalize marketing reporting and evangelize across the full Marketing organization, encouraging cross-functional, data-driven decision making.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels, ensuring a shared understanding of marketing performance. Tell a marketing story with data!
Marketing Campaign Optimization
Analyze customer behavior, segmentation, and trends to enhance targeting & personalization efforts to improve the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Interpret trends by channel, tactic, content type, and persona to maximize campaign performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement findings.
Detect root causes of changes in performance and effectively communicate these insights to stakeholders and marketing leadership including recommended actions for improvement.
Data Management
Promote corporate data governance policies and act as data steward to ensure the accuracy and consistency of key data across all systems used by Marketing.
Contribute to the delivery of our long-term data roadmap and work cross-functionally to prioritize work and align to goals.


Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a B2B high tech environment.
Prior experience managing an analytics team, including coaching, mentoring and providing feedback.
Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights to drive business outcomes.
Data science background with technical expertise regarding data models, data analysis, and segmentation techniques.
Proven experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms as well as analytics tools required (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, SQL, Python, R, etc.).
Critical thinker, able to creatively solve problems and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Meticulous attention to detail while successfully managing multiple tasks concurrently.
Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills able to tell a clear & compelling story with data.
