Senior Network Security Engineer
Location: Franklin, TN (Hybrid)

Job Description:
The Network Solutions Delivery Engineer will work closely with Regional Engineers (both within the North American Region team and other the other global teams), the GTS Architecture domains (Infrastructure, Governance, Cloud, Microservices, DevOps, Cybersecurity), Operations and the PMO as well as business lines making sure the standards and governance around infrastructure principles are being adhered to and respected at all times.

Oversee and guide the delivery and run of the required infrastructure architecture.
Provide the work's technical conscience, defining and driving the right solution to meet the technical performance, scalability, flexibility, operations and capability needs.
Ensure technology standards and corporate policies are followed and evolve over time.
Liaise with Global Information Security as required.
Develop and maintain core network standards in partnership with Operations and Application Development.
Provide support as required during critical (high) incidents related to core network capabilities under ownership. Leads investigations and takes corrective/preventive actions
Leads training and technical forums, serves as both a formal and informal mentor, and executes other initiatives designed to share knowledge across the enterprise.
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
5 years' experience as a Core Network Architect and/or Engineer
3+ years of demonstrated experience working with multiple SD-WAN solutions
Advanced knowledge of WAN architectures, protocols and SD-WAN Technologies
Expert understanding and implementation experience of Cisco SDWAN (Viptela and Cisco)
Expert knowledge other SD-WAN technologies (VMWare expertise essential)
Strong working knowledge of security and hardening concepts
Advanced network services knowledge: DHCP, DNS, NTP
Migration Strategies for Implementing Virtual Network Functions (VNFs)
Advanced core network management, logging and monitoring tools knowledge
Advanced knowledge of disaster recovery services & strategies
Previous experience with Cisco DNA centre.
SDN technologies: Cisco ACI, NSX-T, Cisco SDA.
Knowledge of Cisco routing and switching is required to perform this position.
Automation and IaC: ansible, Python, Terraform, Git.
Additional Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
At least 5-7 years in WAN support and design.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment but must have the ability to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter/self-motivated
