Job Title: Senior Oracle DBA Job Location: Denver, CO (Onsite) Mode of Interview: Video/Phone Skills Required: Senior Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) with 12 plus years of experience and having hands-on experience administering large database in production environment. Core-Skillset & Responsibilities: Mandatory Hands-on & recent Oracle RAC experience in Production Environment: Install, Configure, Patch, [Upgrade], Backup, Support, & Tune Databases in Production. Hands-on & recent Oracle Data guard / Standby in Production Environment: Configure, Role-Transition, Troubleshoot, Support in Production. Hands-on & recent Oracle Patching: Quarterly RU Patching for GI and DB Homes, One-Off patching, Patch conflict resolution. Oracle RAC Performance Tuning and troubleshooting in Production environment. Strong background and experience with writing and tuning SQL. Oracle Data Pump and RMAN: Backup and Recovery. Hands-on knowledge & familiarity with Unix / Linux OS tunables, with respect to Oracle DBs. Hands-on knowledge & familiarity with Shell Scripting for the purpose of day-to-day database monitoring and automation tasks. Soft-Skillset & Responsibilities: Mandatory - Triaging and managing Production Incidents: Should have good experience.
- Team player, willing to support and pitch-in when needed to offer support for late-night / emergencies.
- Should be able to support On-Call rotation every 3rd week, and what this means in a Prod Env (availability & restrictions when on-call).
- Ability to write and communicate clearly. Additional Skillset: Exposure and Familiarity
- Oracle TDE Encryption: HSM & Local, Implement, & Support in Production Environment.
- Oracle Network Encryption: Native and SSL/TLS.
- Managing Oracle Databases in SE Linux environments.
- Experience remediating CVE / Security Vulnerabilities in Oracle Clusters.
- Oracle Golden Gate Replication: Install, Configure, Upgrade, Support, & Troubleshoot Skillset [Optional], Beneficial
- Ability to participate and provide guidance during application design using Oracle Database: Table Design, Concurrency, Indexing, Views, MViews.
- Oracle Auditing Experience.
- Oracle Enterprise Manager: Use and Support
- Oracle Centrally Managed User / OUD / OID.
- Willingness to learn & adapt to new technologies such as NOSQL DB Administration.
