BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

The Senior Principal Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer will be part of an innovative team which works to solve complex problems where the solutions provide truly meaningful results. This individual is expected to work effectively in multi-disciplined engineering teams where communication and innovation is key.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with emphasis in Digital Signal Processing, Communication Theory, Wireless Communications, or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience

Conceptualize, Design and Model world class Signal Processing algorithms for complex integrated HW/SW systems

Performance evaluation of signal processing solutions

Work effectively in a cross functional team as well as a diverse customer base

Develop testing criteria and execute validation of designs

Experience working in a fast-paced development environment focused on fielding complex signal processing solutions

Proficient in signal processing algorithm coding implementation in one or more of MATLAB, X-Midas, C, C++, Python

Experience working with Unix/Linux operating systems

Understanding of signal analysis, estimation, and processing techniques

Demonstrated problem-solving, verbal and written communication, presentation and organizational skills

Proven Technical Leadership skills – ability to generate and deliver creative problem solutions

Strong ability to manage tasks and projects independently with urgency

Proven Record of Continued self-improvement of skills

Experience implementing signal processing algorithms on FPGA’s and GPU’s

Experience with Agile software implementation

Experience leading programs/projects with Agile/Scrum tools and techniques.
