What You Will Be Doing:

Amogy is looking for a Senior Procurement Buyer to join our Manufacturing team. Reporting to our Procurement Manager of Manufacturing, the Senior Procurement Buyer will manage supplier negotiations and contracts, optimize plant shipments, and validate suppliers by working closely with internal and external customers, production managers, shipping managers to support Amogys commercialization efforts.

  • Maintain, forecast and master production schedule based on history, backlog and other sales opportunities
  • Develop systems, track and manage customer contract volumes for allocation on weekly/monthly/annual basis
  • Provide recommendations to sales management for orders based on contractual agreement and strategic sales initiatives
  • Proactively communicate with all supply chain functions regarding issues with product availability where service level will be affected (order will not ship on time)
  • Collaborate with contract manufacturers
  • Proactively review product trends, supply and demand to identify push/pull actions
  • Participate in the evaluation of quotations and contract negotiations from our contracted suppliers
  • Work cooperatively to implement innovative inventory and production efficiency programs
  • Take an active role in the ERP implementation of Netsuite at Amogy

Requirements

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Supply Chain/Master Scheduling experience, preferably in the oil and gas or energy sector
  • Bachelors degree required with concentration in Engineering, Business Management, or Supply Chain Management
  • Experienced in production scheduling, complex planning, forecasting and product lifecycle programs
  • Experience in sourcing materials and components (i.e. process equipment)
  • Experience in ERP implementations
  • Experienced in Purchasing/Materials tools (ERP, Inventory analysis, part or supplier profiles etc.)
  • Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to facilitate discussion and decision making
  • Experienced in communicating effectively with all levels of management
