Position Summary

At CVS Health, were leveraging advanced analytics techniques, consulting approaches, and healthcare expertise to power innovative product applications for our Aetna customers. Through our work, we improve the health plans and programs Aetna offers. We look for ways to tailor services to members clinical needs and deliver higher quality care for a better price.

As the Senior Product Manager, you will help the Director of Product Management and Principal Product Manager bridge the gap between development teams, business partners and users across various functional areas. You will partner with data science and engineering leaders to manage development work, translate requirements, and design release plans for enhancements. You will work with UX/ UI design experts to deliver the best experience to our users. You will work directly with users to understand their needs, triage issues/ questions and ensure proper training within the application.

This position focuses on a quickly expanding digital application, presenting high opportunity for career growth.

What you will do

  • Increase utilization through user training, communication, and engagement sessions (e.g., voice of the user feedback sessions)

  • Assist with crafting/ managing roadmaps for an application within the product platform

  • Leverage customer behavior data and solicit ideas and feedback from different business verticals to build a fully fleshed out product backlog

  • Write business requirements and assist development teams with translating into technical requirements

  • Increase utilization through user training, communication, and engagement sessions (e.g., voice of the user feedback sessions)

  • Track progress of development teams and communicate delivery expectations to leadership and business partners

  • Conduct performance analyses and synthesize results into regular updates for stakeholders

  • Manage testing of new features with cross-functional development teams and users

  • Manage relationship with UX/ UI design team to ensure front end delivers optimal user experience

The ideal candidate

  • Excellent communicator and storyteller (written & verbal) and presentation skills, both with technical and non-technical audiences

  • Empathetic partner to customers & stakeholders, exhibiting high emotional intelligence

  • Ability to work cross-functionally

  • Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position product to users.

  • Ability to execute against product vision, strategy and roadmap

  • Innovative thinker and able to synthesize data from multiple sources to identify key unmet needs and solutions

  • Strong technical and analytical skills

  • Experience with agile software development processes


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of combined applied analytics and product management

  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile framework and as a Product Owner/Manager

  • 2+ years product development and related project teams in analytics in enterprise level environments


Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years work experience

  • Experience in Insurance, Healthcare, Retail, Tech or similar

  • Experience with Jira (or similar platform)

  • General data analysis experience (SQL, Python, etc.)


Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$132,250.00 - $260,000.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the companys equity award program.
