Your Role
As Senior Product Manager, you will be part of a highly skilled, creative, and collaborative team who will work together to bring innovations to life. By directly reaching thousands of members, your work on their experience will help create meaningful positive change on a large scale. Our shared goal is to transform the way members receive transformative care. You will also conduct Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing for the features being developed in your domain. You will be involved with identifying clinical features for the members across the entire platform by presenting data-driven insights about the competitive environment and our users, and ultimately propose solutions that have a meaningful impact on core metrics for the business.


Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize the workload of an Agile Team in alignment with the strategy and vision of the organization. Prioritization will include software product features, technology infrastructure improvements, technical debt, and production support.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operations, compliance, population health, and technical teams to ensure the Agile Team has a base of actionable requirements and clearly defined project scope, and that both are available when the Agile Team is ready to build functionality. Ensure requirements address internal business needs, including integration, patient and provider needs, data governance, with a mobile first approach.
  • Validate requirements with businesses and engage with target users to test and iterate on experiences to confirm desired outcomes.
  • Comfort with Agile methodologies & managing sprint cadence.
  • Manage multiple priorities for the development of new products and product enhancements by defining customer needs and working with internal partners.
  • Comprehend strategic and financial implications of project(s) / product(s) on the overall budget.
  • Ability to think proactively, suggest solutions, and manage multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously.
  • Make recommendations and/or decisions on whether to maintain, invest, scale, or de-invest in the assigned capability.
  • Build and maintain a prioritization framework. Manage backlogs and backlogs to support efficient development and delivery of business capabilities.
  • Partner with engineering and other IT functions, UX, analytics, marketing, operations, and clinicians to build solutions that deliver value for the organization and our members.
  • Develop recommendations for capturing transformative potential for the prioritized projects.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a broad project team including marketing, sales, IT and operations.


Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Healthcare related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years experience in consumer product development (Product Management preferred), ideally including the healthcare and mobile space
  • 3+ years partnering closely with or on Agile software engineering teams
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in UI/UX, marketing, branding, and data analysis
  • SaaS and startup experience preferred
  • Excellent writer with demonstrated writing experience, passionate about writing on clinical topics
  • Experience working with digital products in the healthcare space
  • Understanding of the product development life cycle, including product/market strategy, product infrastructure planning and management, and product design/development is required
  • Extensive working knowledge of systems capabilities, operating units and departmental functions required to assess product administration capabilities is required
  • Ability to analyze data and subjective feedback to determine most important factors of member satisfaction
  • Independent, open-minded, non-judgmental, compassionate, and flexible
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; active listener and contributory speaker with strong presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Results driven -- documented success in exceeding goals and objectives

Travel Anticipated
This position requires overnight travel approximately 10%.
