As a Senior Project Manager with our company, you will have the opportunity to run some of our most challenging and complex projects, in addition to being primarily responsible for developing client relationships. As you grow in your role, you will become the primary point of contact for designated client relationships, making you responsible for overall communication with the client, including regular check-ins, as well as oversight of staff working client projects.

The ideal candidate for this role must have a demonstrated understanding of constructability with an ability to run projects profitably and to the clients satisfaction, while maintaining effective communication both internally and externally. In the construction industry, there is no room for error when it comes to safety, finance, and quality craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of how to manage costs on a project and how decisions made effect the bottom line.

What You Will Be Doing

Responsibilities Include

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
• Oversee all onsite/offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
• Nurture existing client relationships to emphasize customer retention while working to build relationships with new clients
• Manage labor productivity in order to maximize profitability, when applicable
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses
• Select tools, materials and equipment; track inventory
• Meet contractual conditions of performance
• Review the work progress on daily basis
• Prepare internal/external reports relating to job status
• Plan ahead to prevent issues and resolve any emerging
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits/licenses
• Analyze, manage, mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
  
  

What You Need for this Position

Requirements

• Proven experience as lead PM on a variety of projects of different scopes and sizes
• BS degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage all financial aspects of projects
• Analytical skills to comprehend complex details of a project to fit the scope of work
• Problem solving skills to understand the root cause of issues as they arise to ensure successful outcomes
• Effective communication on and off the jobsite
• Precise attention to detail
