Job Description: Senior Retail Quality Engineering Consultant We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Retail Quality Engineering Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Retail Quality Engineering Consultant, you will be responsible for applying your expertise across multiple domains within the retail industry, such as Point of Sale, Merchandizing, Supply Chain, Finance, Back Office, Fuel, and Pharmacy. You will work closely with clients, providing guidance and expertise in all types of testing, including Functional, Performance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Responsibilities: - Demonstrate a deep understanding and application of quality engineering principles across various retail domains, including Point of Sale, Merchandizing, Supply Chain, Finance, Back Office, Fuel, and Pharmacy.
- Participate actively in all types of testing, including Functional, Performance, UAT, etc., and be able to provide advisory services based on your experience.
- Familiarity with delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, Product-aligned development, and qualifications in specific frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps.
- Exposure to multiple technology stacks, including API-based and UI-based systems, and the ability to adapt and work with different technologies.
- Interact professionally with clients at mid and upper management levels, including C-Suite executives, VPs, and Directors. Challenge assumptions or desires regarding project plans, priorities, and delivery methods, while maintaining strong relationships.
- Prioritize the "shift left" principle, advocating for early involvement of quality engineering practices and emphasizing prevention over detection.
Requirements: - Extensive experience in quality engineering within the retail industry, with a focus on domains such as Point of Sale, Merchandizing, Supply Chain, Finance, Back Office, Fuel, and Pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in various types of testing, including Functional, Performance, and UAT.
- Proven experience working with different delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, and Product-aligned development. Certification in Scrum, Kanban, or DevOps is a plus.
- Exposure to multiple technology stacks, including API-based and UI-based systems, and the ability to adapt and work effectively with different technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with clients at various management levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and strategic mindset.
- Ability to challenge assumptions and provide constructive feedback to clients while maintaining positive relationships.
- Understanding of the "shift left" principle and the ability to prioritize early involvement of quality engineering practices.
