Position: Senior SDET Engineer Location: San Jose, CA Term: 12+ Months Long Term Client: Modis / PayPal Rate: $55 - 58 MAX / Hr on C2C Visa: USC / GC / H4 EAD / TN Mandatory 9+yrs experience candidate required Note: need someone with an SDET background with strong exp. With Java Candidate need to complete Java Glider Test to submitted to end client As Software Engineer in Test/QE will be responsible for developing test automation infrastructure and framework for Frontend (APP/web) and backend services of our applications. This encompasses a variety of features such as testing on boarding, mobile payments point-of-sale, virtualization, performance, and instrumentation. Need to know Java or JavaScript for coding. Description: Create infrastructure, write and lead the engineering team in writing the manual and test automation Own and develop testing tools and strategies Lead and hold other engineers accountable for technical quality measurements Build and maintain CI environment for mobile applications Required: - Degrees or Certifications: Bachelor in Computer Science or related degree
- Expert working knowledge in at least two of the following Mobile and Web automated testing tools: XCUI, Espresso, and KIF, Selenium, Web Storm
- Experience in scripting languages, like JavaScript, Perl, Python or Ruby
- Experience in Object Oriented Programming experience in Java, Kotlin and Swift/Objective-C,
- Proficient in getting around Integrated Development environments (Eclipse, xCode, Android Studio)
- Experience in version control concepts and tools for release management (e.g., Subversion, GIT, and Maven Repository
- Experience in developing unit / Integration level white-box tests that exercise our middleware and frameworks at the API level and web
- Experience with development best practices including agile processes, testing methodologies (white-box, black-box, unit, and integration), continuous integration, Jenkins as well as mobile specific testing approaches and tools.
