POSITION DUTIES: Develop and modify scalable software applications. Collaborate with technical and business team members to define and design applications and system integration. Contribute to software design and implementation, writing source code and maintaining existing software. Participate in technical design review meetings and technical initiatives with other development teams such as QA testing and delivery. Ensure consistency across systems and oversee application/system dependencies and deliverables. Participate in pairing and code reviews and troubleshoot problems with existing applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and assist with problem-solving and skill development. Assist with project planning and estimation exercises to assess the scope and feasibility of new initiatives. Share knowledge and expertise with the broader engineering team through presentations, workshops, and internal training sessions. Possible travel and/or relocation may be required. Work to be performed at various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.

Minimum Requirements:

• EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field.

• EXPERIENCE: Five years of frontend web development and/or testing experience.

• ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field, employer will accept two additional years of experience in frontend web development and/or testing experience.

• SPECIAL SKILLS: This position requires education or experience in: 1) Software development experience with front-end technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, CSS, SASS, HTML, NodeJS, and Git; 2) Test and Debug Frameworks; 3) User Interface and Responsive Design; 4) Algorithms; 5) Performance Optimization; 6) Integration with Services; and 7) Agile Methodologies.
