Health IQ is changing the way insurance is done. We focus on using data and technology to help our clients make informed decisions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key member of our team, designing and building software that powers our sales and operations teams.

What you will be doing:

• Spearhead development of a new platform for our sales and operations teams
• Work with key stakeholders and technical leadership to define, architect and develop functionality to improve business efficiency
• Understand complex systems and apply latest technologies and patterns to improve them
• Execute the full SDLC including requirements analysis, architecture and design specification, service development, code review, testing and deliver

Requirements

About You:

• You have strong software engineering fundamentals and optimize solutions for impact
• You are self-motivated and like to work autonomously
• You are not overly focused on technical stack and like to work at multiple layers of the development process
• You have experience developing complex software systems and contributed on frontend and backend
• You have strong leadership skills and ability to set directions and work through ambiguities
• You have 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• You have an undergraduate degree in computer science, or related technical field

Bonus Points:

• Experience working in a service oriented architecture
• Experience with Node.js/TypeScript and React/TypeScript
• Experience with building products for internal customers
• Track record of building 0 to 1 products and features

The targeted base salary for this position is $125,000 to $225,000 plus a competitive equity package. Multiple factors go into determining pay, including skills, experience and location.
