Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Strategic Advisor, MuleSoft Advisory Services in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Serve as a Trusted Advisor to customer senior leadership. Drive conversations with Enterprise Architects and Business Stakeholders armed with best practices for enterprise architecture functions such as Security, Performance, Development Process, and Application Governance. Contribute to a transformational program vision/roadmap by advising the customer and partner on the IT operating model, including API lifecycle, reuse strategies, and organizational capabilities to support strategic business objectives. Drive the creation of program level application and technical architecture documents which leverage MuleSoft best practices and effectively integrate MuleSoft into the customer’s infrastructure. Establish a working C4E operating model, driving creation and consumption of reusable assets and APIs stored in the Anypoint Exchange. Document KPIs of platform benefits, such as API reuse, and business outcomes achieved within and across different customer teams. Perform capability, architecture, and design reviews, while troubleshooting key customer implementation issues and demonstrating the ability to drive issues to successful resolution. Review and proactively correct project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable going forward. Negotiate solutions to complex problems, contributing to broader goals and growth beyond the scope of single customer engagement. Contribute to the growth of the Services Practice by identifying and leading internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice, leveraging junior teammates to achieve individual as well as team growth. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce office may be required. May be assigned to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related filed.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) API Management; (2) Cloud Integration; (3) SOA and ESB technologies; (4) IBM API Connect; (5) DataPower; (6) WebSphere ESB; (7) Sterling B2B Integrator; and (8) SAP PI/PO. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce office may be required. May be assigned to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.

Salary: $170,955.00 - $265,200.00 per annum.
