Towne & Locke is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer - Microsoft to join our client's growing team in New York, NY. This position offers a very competitive salary plus bonus full insurance benefits, 401K, paid time off etc. 



Responsibilities:

• Deploy solutions that align with the client’s business needs and technical requirements


• Follow project methodology and generate best-practices documentation as required


• Partner with clients to understand their business goals and make recommendations for


• solutions


• Assess existing environments and document deployment plans


• Evangelize about new or emerging technologies


• Assist with proposal generation, bills of materials, scopes of work, presentations, RFPs,


• etc.


• Mentor junior engineers, provide guidance, offer insight and assist with career


• development


• Participate in the design process working with other Engineers & Architects

• 7+ years of relevant experience


• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365 Exchange Online


• required (messaging focus)


• Experience utilizing 3 rd party Office 365 migration tools such as BitTitan


• Expert knowledge of Windows Server/Active Directory and server virtualization (VMware and/or Hyper-V)


• Experience with ADFS/Identity; File and Group Migrations


• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Enterprise Mobility + Security Suite (EMS) preferred – focusing on Mobility Intune


• Experience with Microsoft Skype for Business, SharePoint or System Center preferred


• Experience with Microsoft SCCM and Windows Deployment/Management


• Ability to execute PowerShell scripts with minor customizations. Strong PowerShell scripting is highly desired


• Citrix experience is a plus


• Microsoft certifications such as MCSE (or VMware, Citrix equivalents) are highly preferred, and achievement will be required if the candidate does not have them


• Excellent communications and writing skills required


• Experience with Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
