Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Accountant:
Experience with preparing and reviewing 1065, 1120S, 1120, 1041, 990 & 1040 returns. Payroll tax, Sales & Use Tax, Property Tax Returns. Experience with multi-state individual and corporate tax preparation Experience with tax planning Reconciling depreciation and shareholder basis issues Some development of monthly & annual financial statements, including cash flow, income statements, and balance sheets. Ability to perform research on and interpret complex accounting and tax topics to apply to clients. Troubleshooting & overseeing accounts by reconciling journal entries Requirements of the Senior Tax Accountant:
- Some Client development and engagement building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, and consulting
- Ultra-Tax Experience
- QuickBooks Experience
- CPA Preferred
- 2-3-years Public accounting firm experience
- Skilled multi-tasker that can handle numerous engagements at once while managing strict deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
