We are looking for a Senior Tools Engineer to join our Team. You will be a creative problem solver who enjoys developing tools in Qt. You will work with our engineering teams and customers to design and build tools and pipelines for our renderer. We’ll count on you to raise the bar with solid engineering fundamentals and leadership, but also with your passion for making great software that enhances the lives of game developers.

 

Responsibilities:

• Solve challenging problems that are often not well defined by writing a lot of elegant and practical code.


• Identify rendering and engine pipeline bottlenecks and opportunities for automation.


• Be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining core rendering tools, pipelines and components.


• Help real-time graphics developers build without constraints - drive the technology choices that enable a world-class user experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience


• 5+ years professional experience in software development


• 4+ years of professional Qt related software engineering experience, working on multi-discipline teams with a specialty in tools and pipeline development


• Strong C++ knowledge


• Proven expertise building tools and pipelines for game technology using Qt and C++


• Strong game industry experience (4+ years)


• Unity, Unreal, CryEngine or other 3D game engine development experience
