Duties Description The Aviation Bureau is filling a Senior Transportation Analyst position to assist with various aviation building and airport management functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for functions that include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee aviation consultant firms working for Republic Airport preparing design and construction documents;
- Prepare Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Grant Applications, annual reporting and closeout documentation;
- Utilize Department systems including ICMS, PERF, SFS and/or EBO;
- Perform and/or oversee Tenant Alteration Agreement (TAAs) at Republic Airport;
- Lead the creation and management of airport leases;
- Assist in the review and scoring of Airport Grant Program applications;
- Perform Building Management Inspections and Tenant Alteration Inspections at Republic Airport; and
- Perform Airport Master Plan and Airport Layout Plan (ALP) reviews for reasonableness and consistency.
Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department's response to regional and statewide emergency situations.
