The role:
A Transportation Coordinator is responsible for routing shipments accurately, assist in tracking loads and verifying delivery, and ensure all proper paperwork is received for documenting completed shipments.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate transportation to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
Preparing BOLs and verifying invoices.
Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to verify accuracy.
Key skills and experience required:
5+ years of logistics industry experience.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficient at time management and good organizational skills.
Very detail oriented.
Understanding common obstacles and solutions in supply chain.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong teamwork & problem-solving skills.
Bachelor diploma required.
