he Senior Designer will be responsible for leading usercentered design activities,

including identifying use patterns and user requirements, to ensure that solutions are

adopted by end users.   

This role will design and execute research plans to determine user preferences and

work with the Business Analyst to draft designs for user interfaces.  

This position is also responsible for delivering QASP metrics regarding user research.   

The Senior Designer acts as the functional lead for a team of engineers, developers,

and testers building critical publicfacing websites for a major government agency.   

As the Senior Designer, you will be familiar with U.S Web Design/DigitalGov standards

as well as OMB Federal Web Standards and techniques for development with respect

to Section 508 requirements.   

The person will be proficient in adapting solutions to enterprise standards as well and

will be forwardthinking with respect to new developments in the field and

recommending those to the client.  

The Senior Designer will have been successful implementing agile frameworks for

development of web solutions.   

The successful candidate will have experience with Drupal, specifically with content

types, workflows, and roles.   

Experience with Google Charts, the DKAN Open Data Platform, Foresee, or Qualtrics is

a plus.   

Note : The work will mostly be remote, however, there will be a requirement to attend

meetings in person outside of Baltimore, MD, on a regular basis.
