Job Title: Sr/Lead Devops Engineer

Job Description:

• Guidelines that could help you identify a strong DevOps engineer with strong development and integration experience.
• Please note we are not interested in Azure DevOps guys who have managed and Deployed into an existing Azure Environment but someone who have created the pipelines from Scratch.
• Looking for candidates with strong development experience and if they have Ops experience that is great. But focus on the Dev or DevOps.
• Looking for candidates who can develop and build CICD pipeline, rather than use existing pipeline like Azure DevOps Pipelines (Buying a car vs. Building a car).
• Candidates should have an engineering background and be capable of creating and building things from scratch.
• The job requires building a CI/CD framework and creating pipelines from scratch.
• Search for candidates who possess a deep understanding of the components involved in the CICD pipeline and can explain them clearly. Have they built pipelines before? Have they integrated the different components? Knowing Terraform alone is not enough.
• Experience with Git integration is preferred.
• Looking for candidates who have experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Bash.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Candidates who have experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack are ideal.
• The candidate should have knowledge of best practices for software development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Candidates who have experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA are preferred.
• Looking for candidates who have worked with source control tools such as Git and have experience with branching and merging strategies.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are a must-have for a DevOps engineer.
• Looking for candidates who have experience with testing and automation frameworks.
