Pay Rate: $17.00 / hour

We have partnered with a large industrial service company the Harrisburg, PA area to provide them with a Service Coordinator.

  • Responsibilities of the Service Coordinator:

    • Answers customer phone calls and provides customer service to assist customers by obtaining information regarding their service needs.
    • Enters customer information and reported service issues or needs into the S2K system so the customer's service work can get added to the service schedule by the Service Coordination Supervisor
    • Works with the other members of the coordination team to ensure accuracy of information entered to strive for excellent customer service
    • Communicates proper and accurate information to the service technicians to achieve superior customer service
    • Dispatches emergency or additional service calls to service technicians daily as needed. Only occurs when emergency priority calls are received or when a service technician is in need of additional work for the day.
    • Maintain a positive attitude and communicate professionally with all customer interactions and also with other employees.
    • Assists with reviewing completed service call reports and moving the service call to the next step. This could include passing it on to the billing department for billing, parts department for ordering parts to complete the call, and/or rewriting the call for additional work needed.
    • Provides proactive follow up with customers, service technicians and interoffice to ensure outstanding issues are resolved and all commitments and expectations are met or exceeded.
    • Works with service technicians, mangers and /or supervisors to resolve issues / problems in the field and helps provide solutions to improve on-going procedures.
    • Conducts weekly follow-up customer service survey phone calls for enhanced customer communication and feedback.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and customers.
    • Prepares reports and maintains files.
    • Operate a variety of standard office machines, including a personal computer and a variety of computer software.

    Requirements of the Service Coordinator:

    • HS Diplomaor GED Required
    • 1+ years-experience in dispatch coordination preferred but not required
    • 1+2 years experience in faced paced customer service call center preferred
    • Ability to multi-task in high-stress situations
    • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone and email
    • Strong customer service skills and ability to focus on customer needs
    • Must be proficient with use of the telephone and voice mail, the computer, and other office equipment;
    • Must be skilled in use of MS Office Suite and Outlook
    • Ability to work extended hours on occasions when required.
