| Service Mesh Gateway Lead | Build configure and deploy virtualized networks and routing for hybrid applications. Execute on the deliverables for implementing network communication between cloud workloads and on-prem services Work with application development teams to help with onboarding of their applications. Execute on roadmap deliverables related to the solution to broker communication between distributed services. | Application Development Background: (Java preferred): 6-10 years Public cloud experience (Azure preferred): 3-5 years Experience with physical and virtual networking: understanding of the OSS 7-layer model in practice, VPCs in the cloud, network setups and isolation, segmentation, subnets, firewalls Experience with virtualized compute include VMs and containers Experience with hybrid architectures for distributed workloads running across cloud and on-prem Experience with Envoy including configuration, installation and setup Experience with mTLS Familiarity with infrastructure as code, devops, CI/CD best practices. Experience with GitOps a plus. Familiarity with Hashicorp tools including Nomad, Terraform, Consul and Vault Must have a good understanding of distributed tracing and observability Experience with networking infrastructure such as F5 and Palo Alto |
