WOW BAO is hiring SHIFT SUPERVISORS for our team! We are seeking a supervisor for the Lakeview location at 2806 N. Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60657.

The Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of store operations and maintaining the highest Wow Bao standards of product, guest service and cleanliness. Refers all employee issues directly to Unit Manager.

Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Other duties will be assigned as needed) Must be willing and able to do the following:
- Interacts with all Guests while practicing C.A.R.E. Hospitality (Contact, Above and Beyond, Respect, Enthusiasm).
- Upholds Wow Baos 5 Operational Commitments.
- Plans food prep and Crew Member positioning for each shift.
- Handles inventory management.
- Manages the purchasing process, including ordering and processing invoices.
- Monitors team shift performance.
- Completes all daily checklists, including opening/closing and line checks.
- Manages labor.
- Takes action to ensure the team meets Wow Baos standards.
- Monitors food safety, security, and profitability.
- Comprehends and performs bank paring, cash outs, change orders, and deposits in accordance with cash handling policy (if applicable).
- Effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction.
- Responsible for meeting goals during shifts and for helping teams execute an efficient and successful shift.
- Addresses all Guest complaints and feedback effectively and courteously.
- Uses good judgment when dealing with difficult Guests and non-Guests.
- Monitors daily maintenance and cleanliness.
- Manages Crew Members and conducts their training.
- Promotes exceptional Guest service.
- Becomes proficient in using all restaurant computer equipment and technology.
- Participates in weekly Store Leadership Meetings.
- Multitask calmly and effectively in a fast-paced work environment
- Availability to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including holidays and weekends.
- Other duties will be assigned as needed.
Physical Demands:
- Continuous standing and walking.
- Moving safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs and uneven or slick surfaces.
- Working in confined spaces of varying noise and temperature levels.
- Lifting and moving up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
