Position Summary:
Join our client as a Shop Engine Rebuild Helper in our Carencro, LA Shop. As an integral part of our workforce, you'll contribute to the maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of various engines and compressors. Be a vital member of our team and contribute to the new standard in the industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- - Perform skilled tasks, including maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on engines and compressors.
- - Adhere to all company and customer policies and procedures.
- - Complete necessary paperwork in accordance with directives.
- - Stay updated on technological advances in the industry and continuously develop skills.
- - Demonstrate and enhance leadership skills within the team.
- - Collaborate effectively as a contributing team member.
- - Present a professional image while performing duties.
Qualifications:
- - Proficiency in engine maintenance.
- - Troubleshooting skills for general electronic and mechanical control problems.
- - Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work set hours.
- - Ability to pass drug-related and background testing.
- - Must possess a full set of hand tools as defined by company standards.
- - Good written and verbal communication skills.
- - Willingness to attend training classes and seminars as required.
- - General computer skills and capability to use the computer as a diagnostic tool.
Education and Experience:
- - High school diploma or GED.
- - Formal vocational training is preferred.
Language Skills:
- - Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- - Must have a valid drivers license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Physical Demands:
- - Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- - Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
