Machine Operators, Production Assistant, Shop Helper

Responsibilities:




  • Inspect to ensures a safe working environment prior to each shift

  • Starts assembly and production machinery at beginning of shift.

  • Monitors equipment to ensure that products are flowing properly.

  • Make sure that workstations are clean and free of hazardous materials.

  • Addresses problems with production equipment and machinery and fixes them as needed.

  • Cleans and maintains equipment.

  • Finish, assemble and sort wood products.

  • Uses power tools when needed, and fork truck (Training offered).

  • Observes and removes faulty product from assembly line, ensuring quality finished products

  • Inspects products to ensure they are up to quality standards.

  • Affixes labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products as needed.

  • When required, prepares products for shipment.

  • Unloads, organizes, and stocks shipments.

  • Adheres to all safety guidelines dictation the production and handling of materials in the factory.

  • Ensures that all production deadlines are met, reducing lead times.

  • Reports issues or problems with production.



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities




  • Once trained, have the ability to interpret equipment gauges and monitors factory equipment.

  • Ability to learn & understand possesses of structure and function of production equipment.

  • Once fully trained by our team be able to identify problems or malfunctions with machinery and equipment.

  • Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem- solving skills necessary to troubleshoot production issues, making recommendations as needed to improve processes.

  • Pays close attention to detail.

  • Exhibits ability to work cautiously but efficiently in potentially hazardous conditions.

  • Once trained, have ability to understand and follow factory safety procedures and guidelines.

  • Demonstrates ability to use power tools safely and effectively.

  • Works efficiently and manages time effectively.

  • Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time.

  • Possesses physical dexterity necessary to assemble and finish products.



Education & Experience




  • HS, Technical School, College degree preferred, although not required as we are flexible, enjoy hiring great team members and coaching them to help them realize their potential.

  • Certification and licensing a plus, not required

  • Previous experience in factory or warehouse setting is recommended, but not required- due to our robust training program.

  • Eager to learn & develop as we are believers in growing our staff, allowing all to realize their full potential.



Work Environment




  • Standard 40-hour workweek applies, with unlimited over-time

  • Working hours will be spent in a pristine, air-conditioned production environment.

  • Moderate to heavy physical activity such as walking, and lifting is required daily.

  • Individuals may be required to handle materials, fragile products.

  • No travel required
