Job Description:

A&T is looking for a skilled and highly motivated Shop Technician for urgent hire. As a Shop Technician, you will play a vital role in the assembly and inspection of custom pneumatically and mechanically controlled lift assist devices. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with drawings, recording modifications, using hand and power tools, and maintaining a clean and organized shop.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections on manufactured components to ensure they align with the provided drawings.
Document any modifications made during assembly on component drawings for precise replication.
Employ both manual and powered tools for assembly tasks.
Construct pneumatic systems in accordance with client specifications.
Maintain a well-organized and clean work area to reduce the risk of accidents.
Adhere to established health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Pneumatic and electrical experience is an asset.
Ability to read and work from assembly drawings.
Proficient with hand tools and hardware fastening.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver's license is necessary.
