We are looking for an experienced, results-driven sales professional to work in Fairfax, VA   that is eager to create new business and provide outstanding service and follow-up for an established company with national buying power!

The ideal candidate will have:

• Retail sales experience preferred


• Knowledge of floor coverings and the flooring industry is helpful


• Outstanding organizational, verbal and written communication skills


• Excellent customer service skills


• Problem solving and multitasking


• Willingness to go above and beyond 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Meeting with walk in customers and building relationships


• Must be able to work Saturdays


• Helping clients with their flooring choice through decorating and design advice


• Promote sales efforts and long-term relationships with repeat customers


• Writing and processing orders


• Daily interaction with vendors, ordering inventory and scheduling deliveries


• Visiting client's homes or workplace to provide product and design advice, assess flooring conditions and take measurements.

Education:

• Degree or diploma supported by proven sales experience is desired


• Computer competence, math skills and basic typing
