Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Slitter Operator position at their Villa Rica II facility located in Villa Rica, Georgia.
Qualified candidates should have experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Pay: $20.37 - $30.55 per hour depending on experience
Plus there is a $2.50 per hour work schedule premium for working night shift towards your regular scheduled hours (8:00pm 8:00am)
Schedule: Night Shift 8:00pm 8:00am on a 3/2 schedule

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must be at least 18 years old
At least 1 year of experience operating a machine is preferred
Internal Candidates:
Last performance review was rated Performer or higher
No disciplinary actions beyond a written within the past 120 days
Must be in current position for at least 120 days.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare master rolls for slitting
Place rolls in machine and prepare for splicing
Properly segregate and label all materials
Ensure your own safety while operating the machine and that of those assisting with operations
Communicate orally and/or in writing to other departments for resolution of mechanical problems, reporting defective material, coordination of job preparations, changeovers and daily shift information
Ability to troubleshoot
