Were currently distributed in 11 states and on shelves at major retailers including Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Total Wine, goPuff, BevMo!, Kroger banner stores and more.

Our sales team is looking for a dynamic CA-based Smooj Brand Rep to join our growing team based in Ann Arbor. While the role is based in Southern California, youll get the opportunity to travel to launch Smooj into new markets and grow existing ones. This role is perfect for a hardworking individual looking for exciting new experiences and to escape the typical 9-to-5.

Our ideal candidate will live and breathe the Smooj brand, loves to travel, meet new people, and is passionate about beer & beverage culture. Your typical day will vary widely but may involve visiting some of the best bars and craft shops in America, attending festivals and tastings, closing new accounts, and serving as a passionate brand ambassador for Smooj.

Who You Are:

What Youll Do:

  • Frequently travel within the state of California and to out-of-state markets for sales activities, events, and festivals (estimated percent of travel: 50-75%)
  • Execute monthly and annual territory sales plans; seek out new opportunities to increase sales and penetration
  • Foster strong relationships with buyers and decision-makers and educate account staff on Smooj brand
  • Ensure quality assurance of Smooj in the market and educate accounts on appropriate shelf standards for product (e.g., always cold, proper display)
  • Find opportunities to sell-in new SKUs while building and maintaining relationships with distributors to drive partnerships that increase focus on our portfolio; continuously update their teams about our brands and products
  • Assist with new product releases, managing on and off premise display materials for accounts
  • Utilize VIP and/or distributor route accounting software to identify opportunities, analyze sales, and gain insights while managing account database (Karma) for assigned territory, including pipeline of prospective accounts, and assist with updating contact lists for account, distributor, and customer communications
  • Rep Smooj in an authentic, enthusiastic, on-brand manner to all our distributors, accounts, and customers
  • Support Smooj at tastings, festivals, and other promotional events
  • Serve as a Smooj educator and advocate, helping our distribution and retail partners understand our product and the hard smoothie category

Requirements

What Youll Bring

  • Exceptional customer service skills and abilities; can handle challenging situations with confidence and grace
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven background in a sales-driven and/or relationship management position
  • Tech savvy with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), G-Suite, and social media platforms
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record with ownership and ability to drive an automobile
  • Ability to lift cases up to 30lbs and sit and/or stand for long periods of time
