Software Developer II-Murex Platform, Soho Dragon Inc. NYC -$169, 500.00.

Primary duties include:
· Supporting or developing Murex Back Office modules including MxML Exchange Workflows, OSP queues and Interfaces in Murex Production DEV and TEST Environments (refreshes, debugging, BAU Tasks)

· Handling of Technical and Functional issues related to Murex Interfaces, MLC, Datamart & Reporting

· Developing/Configuring processing scripts, reports and batch feeders, Shell/Bash Scripting

· Understanding and Debugging shell and perl scripts on production and test environments using Unix/Linux, and SQL

· Developing computer applications software. Specifically, employee will create and modify specialized utility programs and computer applications software

· Working as part of the professional team on specialized programming needs and data requirements to suit multiple hardware environments using knowledge of complex software development, program construction and distributed processing and familiarity of debugging tools

· Contributing to the improvements of complex software computer utilization and the enhancement of the software systems for wider applications

· Gathering business requirement and design documents, convert business requirement into automated solution

· Involvement in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle that includes Analysis, Design, Development and Testing software applications

· Communicate with Murex architects on technical direction and troubleshooting, as well as monitoring the Murex platform and developing back office modules.



Qualifications and Skills: BA IT/Comp Sci w 5+ years experience
