Responsible for developing software applications and assisting others in development. Build secure smart phone SDKs and cloud-based platform-based solutions for a variety of healthcare and Internet of Things (IoT) problems. Develop Android software applications using Java and Kotlin. Collaborate closely with the multiple technology and cross-functional groups within and outside the organization. Translate customer and market needs to efficient mobile solutions. Design and build out the next generation smart-phone cloud-based platform that can support future patient and device centric products and applications. Scope work, break down into modules and estimate efforts working closely with Program management. Effectively present and demonstrate various concepts and solutions to customers, partners, and leadership. Position is in fixed location based in San Diego office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.

40 hours/week, 8:30am-5:30pm.
Requires a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a directly related field plus four (4) years of experience in a Software Developer or Engineering role or related occupation.

Must have four (4) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Developing solutions and platforms that leverage wireless communications and smartphone technologies
- API technologies
- Native Android Development
- Java and Kotlin SW development on Android platform, including development of POC/prototypes
- Web services and Cloud

Will also accept a Masters degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a directly related field plus two (2) years of related experience role in lieu of a Bachelors degree plus four (4) years of experience.
