Captivation Software is looking for a senior level software engineer to join a Streaming Analytics team and work closely with mission customers to understand requirements. The selected candidate will also perform writing, testing, building, and seeing analytics through deployment to streaming platform.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

  • Must currently hold a Top Secret / SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree

Required Skills:

  • Java
  • Ability to learn Apache Flink as streaming engine
  • Familiarity with cloud development techniques, resources, and tools

Desired Skills:

  • Experience designing and developing automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms
  • Experience developing and deploying: analytics that include foreign language processing; analytic processes that incorporate/integrate multi-media technologies, including speech, text, image and video exploitation; analytics that function on massive data sets; analytics that employ semantic relationships (i.e., inference engines) between structured and unstructured data sets; analytics that identify latent patterns between elements of massive data sets; analytics that employ techniques commonly associated with Artificial Intelligence
  • Experience with taxonomy construction for analytic disciplines, knowledge areas and skills
  • Experience developing and deploying analytics that discover and exploit social networks
  • Experience documenting ontologies, data models, schemas, formats, data element dictionaries, software application program interfaces and other technical specifications
  • Experience developing and deploying analytics within a heterogeneous schema environment

Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $210,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the years of experience)
